LOS ANGELES, CA - A fascination with fowl and a restless night sitting at a kitchen table with a sharpie pen hatched a unique line of designer wallcoverings and linens called Weirdoh Birds. Featuring a variety of fantastical plumage, the everyday bird is given an imaginative update in these luxurious creations that charm viewers and look dazzling in repetition. The company was founded by artist and professional photographer Orit Harpaz in collaboration with fashion designer Greg Herman, and the upscale brand is the perfect antidote to these unusual times.
“Launching a new home décor business during a pandemic was not in the plan. But after several months of the stay-at-home order, momentum has proven it’s exactly the right time to set Weirdoh Birds to fly out into the world. People need fun, groovy and chic wares to help elevate their surroundings and mood.” says creator Orit Harpaz.
Indeed, one cannot help but feel delighted by the wide variety of designs. Wallcoverings come in a sophisticated palette range, from bold and colorful to classic and cool. Many offerings feature reflective details that serve to brighten spirits with an amusingly opulent look and feel. The line of home linens serve up ample amounts of whimsy and elegance to fit every dining occasion, making them a great conversation piece. As Weirdoh Birds takes flight, an expansion of its line is underway.
